Reports the Atlanta Constitution on a proposal by Rep. Thetus W. Sims (D – Tenn), inspired by his boyhood reading on English law, to make Cabinet members more accountable to the public interest:  “When men secretly and privately, under the guise of friendship, mislead the king or president in order to secure some other end than public welfare, they ought to hang.” Fascinating.
